Ion Irrigation Management Inc. Proudly Celebrates 10 Years!

Established in 2001, Ion Irrigation Management Inc. was Western Canada’s first full service irrigation consulting practice and continues to be one of the 3 largest irrigation consulting firms in North America!

Over the past 10 years ion has consulted on over 500 municipal and ICI projects with an estimated construction value of over $43,000,000, and has also consulted on over 50 LEED Canada-NC certified or registered projects. We are proud of our achievements, but attribute our success largely to our pioneering clients, colleagues, associates, and vendors who share a common vision with us.

The industry trend continues towards further conservation efforts as reflected in some of our more recent endeavors.

Recently, ion designed and commenced management of several biofuel sites for the Canadian Forestry Service in Northern Alberta using effluent from local sewage lagoons to irrigate willow and aspen groves, which will replace coal in community heating systems.

CrossIron Mills Shopping Centre, with North America’s largest rainwater harvesting-irrigation system was successfully commissioned in 2010. In 2011, ion commenced operation and maintenance of Canada’s first landscape irrigation utility at The Ranche at Heritage Pointe.
